Spalding Primary School

Learning Together, Succeeding Together

ACORN 11 - 26th February 2021

We are delighted to let you know that from Monday 1st March, our school will convert to an academy within Infinity Academies Trust.  This brings with it greater freedoms for our school as well greater levels of support for continued school improvement.  Be assured there is no change to the school day, the school uniform (with the exception of the name changing on the logo from Spalding Primary School to Spalding Primary Academy), the school terms or any other of the routine school organisation with which you are familiar.  You will soon see new school signs and a new school website, which will show the change from primary school to primary academy.  To join a family of schools with similar educational values and philosophies and from which we can share our good practice, is an exciting development for our school.

World Book Day

Look out for the letter about World Book Day, which is on Thursday 4th March

Return to school from 8th March

We are so delighted by the government’s announcement that all children should return to school from Monday 8th March.  We will be in contact with you soon with full details of expectations and routines in time for the return to school.

Hot school meals will be available for you to order for your child from the week commencing 8th March.  There will be a choice of two meals.  Unfortunately, a packed lunch option will not be available.  The deadline for ordering meals for the week commencing 8th March is TUESDAY 2ND MARCH 2021 AT 3.00PM.  If you miss this deadline, please make sure you provide your child with a packed lunch from home as we are unable to provide a meal for a child if one has not been ordered for them.
