  • Letter from New Executive Headteacher Mr Andrew Raistrick

    Wed 07 Sep 2016

    5th September 2016

    Dear Parents & Carers,

Welcome back to the new school year.  I hope you all have been able to enjoy a relaxing Summer break and your children are now looking forward to returning to school or, in the case of our new starters, looking forward with excitement to starting their new adventure.

The new school year also heralds a new start for our three schools and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Executive Headteacher for the collaboration of Pinchbeck East C.E Primary, Spalding Primary and Surfleet Primary Schools.

I intend to build on, develop and use the strengths of each school to provide every opportunity for every child to succeed.  Underpinning this will be the high aspirations and expectations we have for all our children; the high social and academic standards we expect and our determination to meet the individual needs of every child.  High quality education provision is also dependent upon a strong partnership with parents and carers and I hope we can work together to give our children an enjoyable and fulfilling education at their respective schools.

I am looking forward to the year ahead and hope, over the course of time, to meet as many of you as possible.

    Kind regards,

    Andrew Raistrick

Helping parents keep their children safe on the internet

NSPCC have launched their Net Aware app to give parents the tools and knowledge to access advice on the go. This is the only guide for parents where social networking sites and apps aimed at children are rated by parents, helping them make an informed decision about which is most appropriate for their child at different ages.
